Aparajito- The unvanquished is the sequel of pather panchali written by Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay. The story is about a small town boy Apu and his thirst for knowledge and an insatiable desire to see the world. This book takes us through his childhood, teenage, college days etc. He fights with not only poverty but also human relationships and other harsh realities of life. This book is simple yet complicated but good to read and have it in collection. One can definitely fall in love with this book. It remains truly the story of an unvanquished spirit that rises through all sorrow and grief like a phoenix, triumphant in its ability to retain hope all times. .
